Introducing Diptic 6: Our Biggest Update Ever
19 Dec 2012
We are thrilled to bring you Diptic 6, our biggest update ever. With this update, you now have access to 165 fully customizable super funky super cool layouts, text captions, background textures and much more! It was clear that users wanted more flexibility and power to customize their Diptics. This update delivers just that, with key features including:
- 100+ new layouts (now 165 total layouts – more than any other photo-collaging app). We’ve added new traditional formats, such as the highly requested 3x3 layout that Instagramers love, and some crazy ones you probably weren’t expecting! In addition to the 165 standard layouts, there are additional layout packs available as in-app purchases.
- Text! This feature lets you add text captions to really "tell the story." Adjust the font, size, color and placement.
- Apply interesting background textures (polka dots, fur, stripes, etc.) to add the perfect touch to your Diptics!
- Postcards! Send Diptics through postal mail to your loved ones. Powered by our friends at Sincerely.
- iPad love. Diptic is now optimized for the iPad in landscape mode. Check out the new landscape interface. Pretty sweet, right?
- We've replaced the Inner Frame Slider with joints. Frame lines now have joints, which you can move to completely customize your Diptics and create interesting layouts.
- Photo swap! You can now swap photos between frames with the flick of two fingers.
- Improved photo picker: Choose from selecting all of your photos at once (a huge time saver!) or manually.
- Modified UI and improved in-app help.
As previously mentioned, this is our biggest update ever. We hope you enjoy the new features and share your creations with us on Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and Instagram. Happy Diptic'ing!
